Dr. Priscilla Larson DMD

Dr. Priscilla Larson DMD is the principal of Sky Orthodontics with offices in Moore and Shawnee, Oklahoma. She has been practicing orthodontics exclusively in Texas and Oklahoma since 2010. In addition to the Moore and Shawnee areas, Dr, Larson sees patients from Oklahoma City, Chickasha, Norman, and beyond.

“I really consider myself blessed to make patients of all ages feel great about their smiles,” says Dr. Larson, who decided to become an orthodontist because it blended her love of both science and art.

Dr. Priscilla Larson — Education

Dr. Larson was born in Canada but grew up in Texas, Ohio, and Pennsylvania. She attended Duke University in North Carolina and graduated magna cum laude with a degree in Chemistry and a certificate in secondary education. She then moved back north to attend dental school at the University of Connecticut School of Dental Medicine.

After graduating with a Doctorate in Dental Medicine, she went on to specialize with a three-year residency in Orthodontics and Dentofacial Orthopedics at the University of Pittsburgh.

Dr. Priscilla Larson – Personal

When she’s not busy in her offices and lab in Moore and Shawnee, Dr. Larson enjoys spending time with her husband, Erick, and their five children, including two sets of twins. They can often be found reading, watching movies, strolling through the zoo or museum, taking part in church and community events, or enjoying the company of friends.

Dr. Larson also appreciates many different creative hobbies when not chasing after or chauffeuring the children.

Dr. Erick Larson MD JD

Dr. Erick Larson MD JD holds a bachelor’s from the University of Central Oklahoma, a law degree from Oklahoma City University, and a medical degree from the University of Oklahoma.

Fortunately, as CEO of Sky Ortho, Dr. Erick has also played an integral role in Dr. Priscilla Larson’s practice that includes oversight in everything from financial to human resources to marketing. His strategic approach to business supported this role. For example, while Dr. Priscilla was in residency, her husband was busy picking up a critical financial background with the Bank of New York Mellon.

Dr. Erick Larson MD JD — Voice of Reason

“He is our voice of reason,” Dr. Priscilla says, “in a daily oversight kind of way. His financial background has been very helpful in getting our practice and now getting our lab established.

“Of course, it can also be very frustrating,” she adds with a smile. “He actually makes me justify all of my purchases. For example, he doesn’t let me buy all the new technology I would like for the practice. At least, not right away. It is probably just as well as many of them would be gathering dust as I worked my way down the line to find the time to learn them.”

Dr. Erick Larson MD JD — Veteran

Adding to Dr. Erick’s diverse background and making it even more remarkable as a perfect complement with his wife’s is the time he spent in the U.S. Army repairing medical equipment. Needless to say, the entire team is very happy to have a leader with so many talents.

Dr. Erick has a passion for science and the systems that create the conditions to promote health, prevent disease, and encourage healthy behaviors. He believes that good health results from proper medical care as well as public policies and programs to protect and improve the health of all people.
